TENUTA SANTINI
At the beginning of the legendary '60s two brothers, Giuseppe and Primo Santini, gave life to Tenuta Santini, of about 28 hectares, giving new vigour to the ancient and traditional cultivation of the vine.
While the countryside of Coriano is depopulated and local farmers become hoteliers and lifeguards, the love for the land remains in the heart and soul of two pioneers who re-evaluate the autochthonous Sangiovese; also strong in the competence of a young agronomist, Dr. Remigio Bordini.
The results are excellent and the best private and social wineries draw from the grapes of the company lifeblood and get important awards.
Years and seasons pass, and from the initial 7 hectares of vineyards grows the investment and experimentation in search of the best quality.
Cellar technology is all about the possibility of exploiting the temperature of the various steel ferments rather than preserving the raw material from which our products are born.
The wines of Tenuta Santini are handmade products and, as such, to be fully enjoyed must be served in the appropriate glass and at the right temperature.
Especially for the aged it is a good idea to open the bottle half an hour before and stir slowly when you reach the end of the container.
Any tartaric deposit is the guarantee of a productive process that respects the quality of the raw material.
