SIMONA VENTURA
Simona Ventura was born in Bentivoglio on 1 April 1965 and when she was very young she moved with her family to Chivasso, in Piedmont.
She attended the former Higher Institute of Physical Education in Turin, where she graduated in 1992. She has a younger sister named Sara, a radio presenter.
Simona is a television presenter, showgirl and actress.
His first appearances on television date back to the mid-eighties, as a contestant on some famous quizzes and television games. She officially made her debut in 1988 as a guest in the Rai 1 quiz "Domani Sposi" and then moved several times from Rai to Mediaset and Sky.
Her growing fame led her to host the Sanremo Festival in 2004, becoming the third female host in history, after Raffaella Carrà and Loretta Goggi.
She was also a judge on several musical talent shows: X Factor (which she brought to Italy on Rai 2), Notti sul Ghiaccio, Amici di Maria De Filippi and the Castrocaro Festival in 2019.
