LIGABUE
Singer-songwriter and director, at the beginning before dedicating himself to this career, he delighted in the most disparate jobs, until:
- In 1987 he had the opportunity to perform for the first time together with an audience with the group "Ligabue e Orazero";
- In 1989 he recorded his first album, "Ligabue", thanks to which he won five platinum records;
- In the 1991 vintage, "Lambrusco knives rose & pop corn" was released, which went platinum five times;
- In 1993 he released his third album entitled "Survivors and survivors" which was awarded 4 platinum records;
- In 1994 "What time is the end of the world?" which won three platinum records;
- During 1995 it was the turn of "Happy Birthday Elvis" which sold about one million copies;
- In 1997, thanks to the collection "Fuori einterno il borgo", Ligabue won the "Elsa Morante" and "Città di Fiesole" awards and his first live album "Su e sotto da un stage" was also published;
- At the beginning of 1998 Ligabue agreed to direct a film that was later named "Radiofreccia", presented out of competition in Venice. The film received multiple prestigious awards including three David di Donatello, two Nastri d'argento, a Globo d'oro and three Ciak d'oro. And also the soundtrack of the latter won three platinum records;
- In 1999 Libabue returned to the recording studio for "Miss Mondo";
- During July 2000, Ligabue had the honor of receiving, in Brussels, the European platinum record, a very important tribute from the international recording industry dedicated to those European artists who exceed one million copies sold with one of their albums;
- In 2001 he filmed his second feature film entitled: "From zero to ten".
