LAURA PAUSINI
Laura Pausini was born on May 16, 1974 in Solarolo, a small town in the province of Ravenna.
Laura started singing from an early age, in fact she sang in the church choir and in her spare time she enjoyed doing duets with her father in piano-bar evenings and at the same time she participated in various singing competitions in Emilia Romagna .
Her big break came in 1991, when she passed the selections to participate in the Castrocaro Festival.
Laura, thanks to her wonderful voice, manages to impress the producer Marco Marati, who in 1993 takes her to the Sanremo Festival with the song "La Solitude" and from here the Pausini phenomenon is born, thanks to the victory of the festival.
In the same year, his first self-titled album "Laura Pausini" was released.
The following year she participates again in the festival with the song "Strani Amori" and wins third place.
Laura Pausini also manages to conquer the foreign record market, which takes her away from Italy for two years. More than all of her, Spain appreciated her talents, and in a short time her first Spanish-language album entitled "Laura" was released.
