FILIPPO MALATESTA
Filippo Malatesta began playing thanks to Fabio Giovanni Malacarne, a musician who was his guitar teacher. Together, they formed a group in 1984 called "I Fibra".
The group mainly performed in pubs in the Rimini area and played covers by U2, Simple Minds and Lucio Battisti.
In 1990 he began a period of auditions with various record companies in Milan, until in 1992, he recorded his first album "The King's Daughter".
In 1992 she made her first television appearance in the Canzoniere dell'estate program with the song "La Daughter of the King".
Regular guest in Red Ronnie's Roxy Bar program, he begins a tour that will touch clubs throughout Italy.
In 1994 he recorded the second album with Corrado Rustici as producer, the same producer as Zucchero and Elisa and named after: Malatesta in San Francisco, in the United States, where the singer spent 6 months.
In 1997, following the production of "Il re delle tre", Filippo Malatesta left the record company Visa Records due to conflicts regarding the artistic choices of the productions.
In 1994 he took part in A disco for the summer in RICCIONE.
In 2000 he wrote the song "One Hundred Days" for Sirya which is part of the album "Like a drop of water".
He was the owner of a club in Verucchio, the Vincanto, in which he performed regularly, and today he has a club in Villa Verucchio "Il Kiosko".
After 15 years from his last album "Giramondo", on December 19, 2019, the album "Sopra la Polvere" was released, containing two unreleased songs and new rearrangements of his most famous pieces.
During the lockdown period, he recorded his new album of unreleased songs: "Biutifullove", preceded by the single "Giulia" in July 2020, the entire album was released in December.
