ELISA
Elisa Toffoli, known in art as Elisa, was born in 1977 in Trieste.
From a very young age she has always cultivated a particular interest in music.
It is no coincidence that already at the age of eleven, influenced by the great myths of Aretha Franklin and Jim Morrison, she began to compose and write the lyrics of her first songs.
At only 16, after being noticed by Caterina Ceselli at an audition, she was offered to sign her first contract with a record company.
This is how she, at 19, was able to release her first album, “Pipe & amp; Flowers”.
The multi-platinum album sold well over 280,000 copies.
However, it had to wait until 2001 to achieve success on a whole other scale. In fact, that year she managed to climb the rankings and win the fifty-first edition of the Sanremo Festival with the song "Luce (Tramonti a Nord Est).
