COSMO
Cosmo, born Marco Jacopo Bianchi, is an Italian singer-songwriter and disc jockey. Born in 1982 in Ivrea (TO), he has a degree in Philosophy and, before his success, held the chair of professor of Italian and history in a professional school in his hometown.
However, his dream of having a music career has never been a secret; in fact, in 2002, together with three of his friends, he founded the group "Drink to me". The band, which produced music in English between rock and pop genres, released a total of four albums.
In any case, it was in 2012 that Cosmo decided to release his first solo covers, all by Italian music greats.
Immediately very popular, in 2013 they led him to make his solo debut with the album "Disorder", which contains ten songs that represent the perfect union between electronic music and the tradition of Italian songwriters.
This first debut album was followed by three more:
- "The last party" in 2016
- “Cosmotronic” in 2018
- "The third summer of love" in 2021
His growing fame has also led him to have several collaborations with some of the most important Italian artists, among which we find Achille Lauro with "Blue Angel", Paola & Chiara with a revisited version of "Kamasutra" and Marracash with "Greta Thunberg - Lo stomach" .
In 2022 he landed at the Sanremo Festival as a guest of "La Representative di lista", with whom he sang an electronic reinterpretation of "Be My Baby" by the Ronettes.
Married to Antonietta, the couple have two sons, Carlo and Pietro. The family still lives in Ivrea, a city very dear to the singer, where he returns every time
that his concerts and other work commitments allow it.
