AN ITALIAN WINS THE LONGEST RACE IN THE WORLD
An Italian wins the longest (and craziest) race in the world: 5,000km in 42 days.
Andrea Marcato is the name of our athlete, the one who won the "Sri Chinmoy Self - Transcendence 3100 - Mile Race", the longest race in the world, consisting of 4,989 kilometers covered all around a block of New York: he established the Italian record and thus achieved the 3rd best time ever.
All held in 42 days, 17 hours and 38 minutes.
A neighborhood, traveled 5,649 times without almost ever stopping except to drink, eat and a few hours of sleep, having a limited time of 52 days to accomplish the feat: child's play right?
Here is the longest and toughest race in the world held every year for 25 years, won in this edition by an Italian, who continues to draw up the list of spectacular victories achieved by the Italian people!
