ADRIANO CELENTANO
Adriano Celentano is an Italian singer-songwriter, actor and entrepreneur.
He was nicknamed the "springer" due to his particular way of dancing.
Celentano was born on January 6, 1963 in Milan.
In reality, his parents have Apulian origins and for work they moved to the north. In 1951 Adriano moved to Via Correnti and it was from this transfer that he took inspiration for the excerpt of the song: "The boy from via Gluck".
After leaving compulsory school he starts working and begins to take an interest in music, especially rock'n'roll.
He formed a group of 4 boys, the Rock Boys composed of: the three Ratti brothers on drums, bass and guitar and Ico Cerutti on second guitar. Over time the pianist Enzo Jannacci also joined the group and then Celentano also met a dancer, Alberto Longoni, stage name Torquato il Molleggiato who would often follow the group in some performances.
The group participated in the first edition of the Italian rock and roll festival, an acrobatic rock dance competition in which Celentano participates as an accompanist for the dancers. He wins the festival with the song "Ciao ti dirò".
Celentano was noticed by the record company Walter Guertler, with whom he signed his first contract with the Music label, publishing his first 45 laps.
The rock boys separate and the Rebels are born.
